Hello,
I build a project to add to my cv and look for junior fs webdev.
When I check activity monitor / cmd , I see that my project takes 2GB for npm run dev.
Can anyone tell me why its so high? Is it normal?

That might be normal. I think you should wory about ram usage in a build. Dev might not be optimised for speed and afficiency and the high ram usage might be because of hot reload and other dev things it has
