Hi! I have a website (https://edu.roalgo.ro) that is built using fumadocs and nextjs, but can't figure out why google isn't indexing the website. I don't have noindex tags, I have a proper sitemap and I have a robots.txt that allows google bot. Any ideas what I can attempt to fix it?

Have you checked the reason, that you can find in the google search console?
@B33fb0n3 Have you checked the reason, that you can find in the google search console?

@B33fb0n3 check the details of that. It should look like this:

looks like thsi
no idea why no sitemaps
Thanks for sharing. Try adding backlinks from known sources to your url and also add a link to a Sitemap into the google search console so it indexes the Sitemap and with that the pages. If you do both things it should be indexed after that
What error message did you see?
Gouty oak gallOP
problem is there's no error
at most crawled not indexed
@Gouty oak gall problem is there's no error
no no, I mean when you enter the url of the sitemap
Gouty oak gallOP
processed sucefully or something like that
also how the f can bing do a better job
who does your dns? I was using cf for a bit and it seemed there default setting for my domains was set not allow crawling
@Patrick MacDonald who does your dns? I was using cf for a bit and it seemed there default setting for my domains was set not allow crawling

It used to be cf but now I have just a direct to my server
so your not using cf name servers any more?
@Patrick MacDonald so your not using cf name servers any more?
Gouty oak gallOP
I do have cf nameservers, but the ip isn't proxied by cloudflare
it goes directly into hetzner
let me see if i can find the setting in the dash board for you
btw this might not be an error some times google is slow to index and you have to request many times its a slow process to get things indexed and cf isnt getting int he way it may just need time and a few requests
Gouty oak gallOP
but I have this so cloudflare shouldn't do anything about it , will try that however
@Gouty oak gall https://seotesting.com/google-search-console/crawled-not-currently-indexed/ this article says there could be many reasons, im tryign to find the docs about it tho, I have the same issue with some pages and after changing this setting in cf overview page or switching to vercel dns it seemed to help.
what every the fix it it wont happen over night, even if you request a new index it takes a week or more for it to try again
Gouty oak gallOP
sure, will wait, thanks for the suggestions, worse case will switch from a custom made website to something like mediawiki so the contest is more easily indexable, hopefully I don't have to do that
I hope you find a fix but fighting with google for indexing is vauge lol btw just found the docs lol : 'Crawled - currently not indexed
The page was crawled by Google but not indexed. It may or may not be indexed in the future; no need to resubmit this URL for crawling.'
