Whenever I go to my landing page which is just the domain, then click over to the other (separately routed) side of my website, for some reason the styles all load in normally EXCEPT for element border attributes. Specifically for my custom element. I have tried most of everything you could imagine trying to fix this issue, but the only thing that fixes it is not having a root /app layout, since Ill my pages are in the (main) folder while my landing page is by itself in (landing). And nextjs usually wouldn't complain but if I want to use the not-found feature, that apparently only works when it is in the /app folder, so I had to make the /app layout and it always causes the other layouts to not properly load styles (border outline) which is really annoying for the end user. Attached is the normal link loading without and then image when page is cold reloaded.
