Who owns the domain and hosting..Basic question

When making a website for a client, who most usually owns the domain and host.For example Hostinger or some other hostint platform, even vercel, should i make them an account there, with their email ,and with this, hosting is theirs and domain is theirs ,i only operate on their account i've created ?

After getting credentials, it’s best to change name servers to cloudflare, I’ve done the same thing

As far as I understood, you’re concerned about domain ownership. For example, Vercel registers the domain for you, but it’s yours

If you do it from your account, you add owning the domain . However, it’s their domain because their stuff is hosted on it.
As long as you agree to transfer out whenever needed, it can be considered as their domain

So, just tell the client to register or register with his/her account and ask them to give credentials or change name servers

After getting credentials, it’s best to change name servers to cloudflare, I’ve done the same thing

And nameservers can be done with your personal account, in case of cloudflare paid plan, then their account
@Anay-208 If you do it from your account, you add owning the domain . However, it’s their domain because their stuff is hosted on it.

Ya, or you can also use their account and give your email admin access to the website

Well i do own the hosting on Hostinger, they own only the domain
If your issue is resolved, mark the message as a solution
tbh it also depends upon client. Some client may prefer to have a owner access while some may prefer just to have normal access
