If you use Firabase, it's easy because its from google as well and provides out of the box connectivity.
But I would first ask myself if you really want to use google analytics and for what.
If it's about comprehending your users, I would go for something else, like Supabase or even Vercels Analytics (Didn't try that one yet).

absolutely. It's not open source, so you'll never know. And it's google - so you basically already know ^^

But there can be use cases where you have no other choice. For example if you're advertising on youtube & google. Than it makes sense.
But just for simple user behavior, I would go for supabase
