@Ray Hi, when a component is imported into a client component, it will become a client component also. The reason why you get the error is you are trying to use `headers()` in a client component.
you could try to pass the `<AuthButton />` as a children of `<MobileMenu />` like this
ts
<MobileMenu>
{isSupabaseConnected && <AuthButton />}
</MobileMenu>
Then in the `<MobileMenu />`, render it by the children props
ts
{children}

so what would my MobileMenu look like if i wanted to render the AuthButton?
children.AuthButton?oh i see it just uses
{children} now, let me try that@Exotic Shorthair so what would my MobileMenu look like if i wanted to render the AuthButton?
`children.AuthButton`?
"use client";
type MobileMenuProps = {
children: ReactNode;
};
const MobileMenu = ({ children }: MobileMenuProps) => {
const [isOpen, setIsOpen] = useState(false);
console.log(isSupabaseConnected);
const toggleMenu = () => {
setIsOpen(!isOpen);
};
return (
<div className="mobile-topnav">
<div className="mobile-topnav-items">
<div className="mobile-topnav-left">
<Link href="/">
<CollectionCoffeeLogo className="mobile-topnav-logo" />
</Link>
</div>
<div className="mobile-topnav-right">
<button onClick={toggleMenu}>
{isOpen ? <ExitIcon /> : <MenuIcon />}
</button>
</div>
</div>
{children}
</div>
);
};
export default MobileMenu;Exotic ShorthairOP
thanks for typing out that example! it seems to work as in it doesn't throw me any errors anymore, now i just dont see the AuthButton component when I try to open the mobile menu. However, that may be due to a CSS issue of mine but thanks for showing me how to pass down the server components to client components, that helps a lot 🙂
Exotic ShorthairOP
yes it was a CSS issue with why it wasn't showing up 😄 i got it working now!
