Hello,
I would like to learn a JS framework and after some research I came across next.js. But there's something I don't understand. Is next.js a front end or front and back end framwork? Because I'd also like to learn another framwork for the backend like adonis.js.
Thanks in advance

Hey, nextjs is both. A little bit more backend, but the most code you write is jsx or js/nodejs. If you got the basics (html, css, js) you can continue with a framework. For your first framework I recommend you using react. react is full clientside and good to learn all the frontend stuff. Later you can upgrade to nextjs, to also offer backend functionality @Thrianta

Thank you for your responsiveness.
I'm going to use React to get started.
Thanks again.

Next is a React-based framework, and makes constructing large React apps easier, so no harm in studying them together.
