I don't understand what is your purpose. Vercel KV is a Redis database while Prisma only supports NoSQL and relational databases, you can't connect Vercel KV with Prisma.

For a traditional database, you should consider Vercel Postgres which provides a PostgreSQL database

cant i have both kv and postgres for a project

but to initialise the postgres, i did vercel link again, did i make a mistake

Linking it again wonâ€™t cause any problems, and you should be able to connect to your PostgreSQL database easily with the environment variables provided by Vercel.
