Router.push being a promise and "Canceled render errors"

Hey reader,
Thanks for helping me out. I have two questions.
1. Is it bad that we don't handle the promise of router.push?
2. Is not handling the promise of router.push generating "Canceled render errors"?
(maybe 3 if you really feel generous, why is router.push a promise, when would you use it?)

Some extra info: it looks like the "Canceled render error" happens mostly on the Facebook "browser"
